Who organizes the Cherry Blossom Pageant?
The Barberton Area Jaycees organize & operate the pageant. The Jaycees are a local non-profit volunteer group that runs the pageant as a fundraising project.
What are the pageant’s profits used for?
The Jaycees use the funds raised at the pageant for community service projects, such as Back to School, Thanksgiving & Project Santa. In addition, the Jaycees make direct donations to local events, youth sports & school activities.
Where is the pageant located?
For 2019, Masons Hall, 600 W Park Ave, Barberton, OH 44203.
What time does the pageant begin?
For 2019, The start time depends on the contestant age.
For girls & boys, ages newborn to 6 years old, your pageant begins at 10 AM.
For ages girls 7 to 22, boys 7 to 9, and Precious Angels, your pageant begins at 2 PM.
How much does it cost to enter the pageant?
For 2019, if you complete your application & mail with check or money order to be received by April 1 your cost is $40 per contestant. Applications and payments received after April 1, but by April 15 will be $50. If you register is received after April 15 or on pageant day the cost is $65 per contestant.
You may enter an optional photogenic competition for $10 if paid by April 15, $20 if paid after April 15 and on the day of the pageant.
NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 15 OR ON PAGEANT DAY! Cash, money order and Credit/Debit Cards are the only forms of payment accepted the day of the pageant. There will be a $3 convenience fee charged for Credit/Debit Card transactions.
Is there an admission fee to watch the pageant?
Yes, $1 per person is collected at the door from all spectators. No admission is charged to contestants.

Can I pay the admission fee by check?
No, the $1 admission fee must be paid in cash.
